Focus Pause
- Quick Timer
Screen Time、FamilyControls
- Focus Pause
Focus Pause

Overview
Focus Pause is an iPhone focus app that provides a pause before opening apps, timed blocking, recurring schedules, and after-use review. This policy explains what those features process on your device and how you can control that information.
We Do Not Collect Your Data
Focus Pause processes its feature data on your device:
- App data is stored in your device's local storage and local App Group container
- The developer does not operate an account or service server that receives Focus Pause data, and does not collect, upload, or remotely store your personal data
- The App contains no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDK, and does not automatically upload diagnostic logs
Types of Locally Stored Data
The following data is stored only on your device for the app to function properly:
- System tokens for the apps or categories you select, protection settings, and Shortcuts configuration
- Purposes you create, breathing settings, intended time, and pause records
- Quick Timer configuration and state, plus recurring schedule names, icons, days, times, targets, and pause state
- Pause and active-blocking history, including start time, planned end time, actual end time, source, and end reason, for on-device review
- Purchase and Premium entitlement state returned by StoreKit and cached locally; Apple handles payment information
On-Device Diagnostic Logs
To help you troubleshoot timed blocking and system-permission issues, Focus Pause keeps structured operational logs on your device:
- Logs can include timestamps, App and OS versions, fixed states, counts, durations, error domains, and error codes
- Logs never record app names, account tokens, or text you enter
- Logs keep only the latest 7 days and no more than 2 MB in total; older records are removed automatically
- You can view a summary, export, or clear logs in Focus Pause under Settings → Diagnostic Logs
- Logs do not leave the device automatically; an export is shared only if you choose a recipient in the system share sheet
Screen Time, FamilyControls & Shortcuts
Focus Pause uses Apple's Screen Time API and FamilyControls framework so you can select apps or categories and apply or remove system restrictions on-device through Quick Timer or recurring schedules. Apple Shortcuts starts the pause flow when you open a configured app.
- The App uses system-provided selection tokens and execution callbacks; it does not read other apps' content, accounts, or general browsing history
- Necessary state is shared locally between Focus Pause and its system extensions through an App Group
- You can revoke Screen Time / FamilyControls access in iOS Settings at any time; dependent protection may stop, but local configuration and history are not automatically deleted
Control & Delete Local Data
- You can delete app configurations, purposes, or recurring schedules you no longer need inside the App
- You can clear diagnostic logs separately under Settings → Diagnostic Logs
- To remove the remaining local Focus Pause data, delete the App; iOS then removes the App and its local containers according to system behavior
- Focus Pause has no account and no personal data on a developer server that requires a separate deletion request
Subscriptions & Payments
Focus Pause offers monthly and yearly Premium subscriptions and a lifetime purchase. All transactions are processed through Apple's App Store:
- We do not collect or store any payment information
- Subscription status is verified through Apple's StoreKit framework
- For payment-related privacy, please refer to Apple's Privacy Policy
Children's Privacy
Focus Pause is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
